Refugee/Migration Crisis Management

Wars, human rights violations, and natural disasters have forced millions to leave their home and become Refugees. As per UNHCR data, there were 70.8 million forcibly displaced persons in the world in January 2019.

Similarly, human trafficking is rampant with millions trying to migrate to “greener pastures” for economic and social reasons. Thousands lose their lives in this effort and if some do succeed, they either end up as social parasites or as minion workers.

FFH is imbued with the aim to ensure basic human rights of the teeming humanity thus displaced. Besides working in the socio-economic sectors to ameliorate living standards so as to discourage people from leaving their secure homes for an uncertain future, we strive to make life bearable for asylum seekers and migrants upon arrival in their new place of residence. We aid local organizations through monetary, material, and logistic support, to provide:

• Shelter and housing

• Food

• Medical aid

• Education

Besides the above, we also provide support to counseling for integration and technical or professional training for seeking employment, to those who are able to stay on, and repatriation/rehabilitation services for those desiring to return to their home countries.
